The Great Stalks

The year is 1892. Adeline, a 20 year old girl is left alone on her parents farm to look after it after they’ve gone into town to sell off their crops. A few hours after they’ve left, she finds that the corn stalks besides her house have become infested with some kind of creature. Assuming it to be some sort of fox or other prey animal, Adeline takes out her varmint rifle in order to clean up any small intruders to protect the crops

Will she survive the night?
